Short description
Kummler+Matter Ltd. built the support structures, feeder line and catenary for the tram line. The preparatory work was undertaken during operating breaks at night, while services continued to operate. The main work was undertaken while operation continued (but taking account of various phases of construction). The construction work required close collaboration with other contractors (for track construction, road construction, civil engineering and poles) and with the transport operator. Various new section insulators and feeders were built. The elastic suspension/catenary wire in zigzag was realized in four construction phases.
